Moodle A course management system designed to help educators to create online courses. It’s an open source and completely free to use.
Evaluation: This technology tool is really user-friendly and quite organized as far as what’s expected of the students by the instructor. I had no problem using this tool for ED481 class.

Firefox (Mozilla) A web browser that’s safer, faster and easier than Internet Explorer. It’s compatible with modern web pages and technologies. It’s an open source and 100% free.
Evaluation: I’ve used the Internet Explorer and the MSN web browsers on my computers at home. I enjoy using Firefox for this class. It’s fast, safe and user-friendly. Anyone can use it, even my 10 yr. old daughter.

Delicious A social bookmarking service. It saves all bookmarks online where it can be shared with other people and be able to see what other people are bookmarking.
Evaluation: I enjoyed using Delicious. I was able to make a list of all my bookmarks online and be able to share them with other people. I was able to make tags, bundles and networks.

Google It’s the world’s largest and most popular web search engines that lets you find other sites on the web by using keyword searches.
Evaluation: The class uses Gmail and the blogger to share information with each other. Both are user-friendly and easy to use. I really enjoyed learning how to use these programs for the class.

Mediafire The simplest file hosting source to share files and images with others. It’s specifically designed to be extremely simple to upload files and instantly manage and share them from any computer.
Evaluation: I like this on-line storage program because it’s easy for me to use and it’s very user-friendly and it’s free.

Multiply It’s a web site where one can share blogs, photos, videos, music and more on-line. It’s safe for sharing and stores permanently and it’s free.
Evaluation: It was easy to apply for and it’s free. I’m still trying to do more with it, but I already have a couple of friends.

Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 It’s the world’s most popular presentation tool for education. It helps students and presenters communicate effectively with their audiences.
Evaluation: I used to be afraid of technology until I learned how to make a presentation using the powerpoint. It’s easy to use and I enjoy making powerpoint presentations

Slideshare It’s the world’s largest community for sharing presentations. It’s the best way to get slides on the web.
Evaluation: I’ve seen some students’ presentations on slideshare and they’re really fascinating, but I can’t seem to sign up for an account. I’m sure if I keep trying, I’ll get in eventually.
